When I came back from Sri Lanka, I spent almost one week editing my travel videos. After I released it I got a new collaboration with travel agency CKGo2.cz. It is a Czech travel agency that organizes tours for individuals, groups or corporate clients around the globe. They asked me to edit 5 separate videos focusing on famous tourist destinations and sport activities that you can find in Sri Lanka. The age group of potential clients is 50 years and above, so I had to adapt the music and edit to meet specific target group. First one is the video of tea fields. We were lucky that in Nuwara Eliya by chance, we saw ladies how they pick up the tea leaves. You can see stunning views over tea factories and plantations there.
Tea Fields
Kandy
The Kandy is a town located 500 meters above sea level and together with Colombo is the most popular city in Sri Lanka. It is the rich mixture of cultural monuments, interesting traditions and region offers many opportunities for walks and trails in surrounding jungle. The biggest experience for us was the introduction of traditional dance that took place every night in downtown!
Beaches
In this video, we look at life on tropical beaches in Sri Lanka. In the first 14 days we traveled almost whole of the south coast from Yalla National Park over tropical beaches around cities Tangalle, Matara and Weligama to the historic city of Galle, Hikaduwa and then back to the Colombo.
Fauna & Flora
Sri Lanka’s flora and fauna is really worth seeing. For us, the best experience was an unplanned visit to private tea plantations near Galle, where we met the owner and his beautiful family. They are amazingly self sustained. From tea, rice, mango, jet fruit to one of the best curry that I ever had, they make it all in home! Then we continued to the Udawalawe National Park. Unlike other reservations, there are almost every day the opportunity to see wild elephants, diverse birds, crocodiles and other animals. You really need a lucky day in order to see leopards here. The next video includes both destination mentioned above.
Srí Lanka – Celé video
For the last video we have almost 2 min. length edit that includes the selection of all best shots which I filmed across the country. From walks on the beaches, a train ride between tea fields, a trip to the historic Nine Arch Bridge, waterfalls, traditional dances and local life.
For those of you who don’t want to spend time to plan similar adventures but rather just enjoy the trip, I highly recommend visiting the website CKgo2.cz. They are happy to make your trip hassle free with planning everything from A to Z for you!
